We hope you are all enjoying the summer and those children attending our Bamford summer camp are having a great time.
Exciting news – Will has signed a new 2 year contract with Cheltenham Town FC in League One, after transferring from Southampton FC.
As most of you know, Will has been at Southampton for 5 years but spent last season on loan at Crawley Town in League Two, making 38 appearances in total for the club. This was a fantastic learning and development experience for him and he has now earned his reward with a move to a League One club.
Will has already made an appearance in Round One of the Carabao Cup and made his League One debut off the bench against Portsmouth on Saturday 13th August.

You will note from Will’s response to some of the questions, he talks about learning and developing, stepping outside of his comfort zone and meeting challenges. All these things are at the heart of our soccer school and all our children can benefit from these same experiences.
So, Will has a new club, new teammates, looking for a new place to live in Cheltenham and is making big strides in the next stage of his career!
There are quite a few League One clubs located in the North West and we will be looking to organise tickets for these matches so you can come along and cheer on Will and Cheltenham Town.
